Tableau Developer

• Translate client challenges into actionable business intelligence solutions by partnering with subject matter experts at the client firm
• Create and enhance intuitive and easy-to-use Tableau dashboards by understanding the business requirements
• Migrate Tableau reports and support the process
• Ensure meticulous documentation of processes, meta data, query logic and results
• Analyse underlying data sets, summarise the findings and present insights using data visualisation
• Identify current processes that are manually completed; apply process automation
• Ensure quality of data, analysis, and reporting of the overall process
• Manage bespoke modification requests of reporting outcomes from end users
• Handle end-to-end delivery of projects, coordinate between client and internal offshore teams and manage client queries
• Prepare risk management reports in an accurate manner, covering all material risk areas
• Understand client expectations and transform them into business/technical requirements
• Conduct regular quality checks, adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)/Turn Around Time (TAT)

Required background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Engineering; a certification in Tableau will be an added advantage
• Over three years of relevant experience working in Tableau and SQL
• Experience working with multiple data sources
• Experience of creating powerful visual outcomes using Tableau
• Proven track record of ensuring the quality of deliverables within stipulated timelines
• Ability to drive work towards the completion stage with accuracy and timely deliverables
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team while conforming to deadlines
• Experience in project management
• Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of client service
• Knowledge of financial services will be an advantage
