| The Job
• Set, lead, and drive Dialog Group’s Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption (ABAC) strategy and Data Privacy strategy and agenda, by engaging with relevant stakeholders. • Provide leadership for implementation of the Company’s ABAC Policy and Data Privacy to promote the core values of the Company including Uncompromising Integrity and Exceptional Performance • Identify and evaluate Group-wide compliance and information management (collecting, storing, processing, etc) procedures and activities to ensure Dialog practices are being adhered to by internal and external stakeholders. • Ensure compliance and privacy by design activities are adopted at all levels across the Dialog group and subsidiaries. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and training on compliance and data privacy matters. • Lead activities/programs to be compliant with applicable data privacy/protection regulations such as Personal Data Protection Act and Anti-Corruption Bill of Sri Lanka and other laws. • Conduct and coordinate annual Data Privacy Impact Assessment (DPIA) across Dialog Group and its subsidiaries to determine gaps in the procedures and policies. • Ensure compliance to Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG), TCFD, and Transparency International Disclosure requirements in reporting and disclosure. • Prepare and present Board and Management reports on compliance and privacy-related risks, mitigations, challenges, and status of the programs. • Coordinate Board Risk and Compliance Committee (BRCC), Risk and Compliance Management Committee (RCMC), and Gifts, Donations & Sponsorship Committee and Defalcation Committee activities. • Coordinate internal whistleblower investigations and reporting. • Lead the Dialog’s engagement with Axiata Corporate Center and other Axiata Operating Companied on Privacy and Compliance • Effectively deliver/manage Staff Management including mentoring, training, target setting and performance assessment. • Provide regular and accurate management reporting on divisional performance. • Act as a point of contact with internal and external parties to Dialog Group with respect to Privacy and Compliance The Person • Possess a degree from a recognized university. • Academic or Professional qualification preferably on Compliance, Privacy, Information Security, Engineering, or Accounting qualifications/ Privacy-related certifications or experiences would be an added advantage. • Familiarity with the telecommunications and digital services industry and the nature of its information processing activities. • Excellent team/networking skills, good communications skills, and ability to work independently to meet deadlines are mandatory skills. • Competency with MS Office tools • More than 10 years experience in commercial organization |
