The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Conflict Transformation, Peacebuilding, Human Rights, Law, Sociology or project management or a related discipline from an accredited academic institution with Two (02) years of professional experience in the related field; or minimum Four (04) years of related work experience with High School Diploma. Experience in coordination, planning, budgeting and implementation of project activities is required. Previous experience in working with Civil Society organizations (CSOs), UN agencies and government ministries, preferably within the International Development or Humanitarian Field is also required. Previous experience in the area of social cohesion, peacebuilding / conflict transformation in Sri Lanka will be an asset. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, computer literacy, fluency in English and working knowledge of either Sinhala or Tamil are strong requirements.
