QUALIFICATIONS

A B.Sc. Honours Degree with specialization in Information Technology / Information Systems with First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;

OR

A B.Sc. Honours Degree in with specialization in Information Technology / Information Systems with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours;

OR

(a) A B.Sc. Honours Degree in with specialization in Information Technology / Information Systems without honours or any other Degree with at least Second Class Honours,

and

(b) A Doctoral Degree in the field of Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning

Or

A Master Degree in the field of Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning with full time research of at least 24 months duration

OR

Such academic or professional qualifications or professional experience as may be approved by the University Grants Commission upon the recommendation of the University of Kelaniya

AND

A Doctoral Degree in the field of Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning

or

A Master Degree in the field of Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning with full time research of at least 24 months duration

AND

At least six (06) years experience in one or more of the following:

Teaching at University Level,

Professional experience,

Research in a recognized Institution,

Postgraduate Studies to acquire the qualifications stipulated at (2) above.

For the above posts, preference will be given to applicants with

Ability to teach more than one area of specialization

Multi-disciplinary background

Relevant Industry experience

Teaching/ Research areas at university level
