The candidate must have a University Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related discipline from an accredited academic institution with two (02) years of professional experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT); or minimum four (04) years of related work experience with a Diploma in Laboratory Science. Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) Registration is mandatory and experience in clinical practice in a busy institution is required. Previous work experience in a migrant support set up, client services and administrative functions preferably within the international humanitarian field will be highly advantageous. Knowledge in health issues and laboratory protocols/procedures is required.
