Post – Bank Services Manager Grade III, EL 03
QUALIFICATIONS

1. External Applicants

Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in a Subject field in Commerce, Management, Accountancy and Economics recognized by the University Grants Commission and completed one year experience or training related field in a recognized Institution.

Or

Passed the Licentiates II or Intermediate or Certificate in Accounting Business II or Business Level or Corporate Level Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of some other country in Commonwealth or above Examination and Completed one year experience or training related field in a recognized institution.

2. Co-operative Employees

Having two years of work experience in the position of Grade II SUL level Assistant Accountant / Assistant Internal Auditor / Post of Assistant Banking Services and completing Diploma Course of not less than one year in Accounting / Finance Managing / Banking

Or

Having worked as the Grade I OPL -1 level Banking/Accounts / Finance / Post of Marketing field and passed the Cooperative Development Certificate Advance Level Examination / Completing Diploma Course of not less than one year in Accounting/ Finance Managing / Banking.

Or

Five years of service in the position of Grade I OPL – 2 level Banking I Accounts / Finance / Post of Marketing field and passed the Cooperative Development Certificate Advance Level Examination / Completing Diploma Course of not less than one year in Accounting / Finance Managing / Banking.

Remuneration: EL 03 – 26000 – 760×5 – 840×5 – 920×10 – 1000×10 – 1080×12 – Rs. 66160

In addition to the above salary Co-operative Employee Commission – Southern Province approved allowances and benefits will be paid

Age: Should not be below 18 years and not above 45 years

(However, the age limit will not apply to those already employed in a Cooperative Service)

GENERAL CONDITIONS RELEVANT TO THE POST

1. The post is permanent entitled to a contribution pension, employee should contribute 8% of his monthly salary towards in Employee’s Provident Fund and 5 % of his monthly salary towards in Cooperative pension fund, and the employer will provide 12% towards it. The employer will also provide an additional 3% to the Employees Trust Fund.

2. Applicants from cooperative service should channel their applications through the respective heads of institutions.

Photocopies of educational, other certificates and certificates on experience should be attached with the application.
