THE PRIVACY AND SECURITY CONCERNS OF TELEMEDICINE SYSTEMS IN SRI LANKA’
As results of the advancement of internet and technology, telemedicine is widely used for providing quality health care services when people are unable to access health services physically. Especially during the recent COVID-19 pandemic, telemedicine based healthcare systems were really useful as the people were afraid to visit health care centers physically. Telemedicine has been used extensively across many countries such as China, USA, Italy, and India during the covid-19 pandemic.

As the security and privacy has been identified as a key factor of telemedicine and telehealth applications, we expect to do a thorough analysis of security and privacy factors with regards to telemedicine applications in Sri Lanka.

We are looking forward for interested and qualified candidate for above research. Post of Software Developer -(Full time)

KEY RESPONSIBILIES:

1. Data entry and tracking and prepare source data

2. Create the website from the analyzed data which were gathered during the research.

3. Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations

4. Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience of working with the Computer projects (software development projects)

• Computer Programming knowledge

• Web development skills

• Documentation skills

REMUNERATION:

A monthly allowance of Rs. 30,000.00 will be paid subject to satisfactory performance. Payments will be made upon submission of the time sheet and attendance with the approval of Project Coordinator.

Duration: rhree months

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to function effectively in a team environment inspiring trust and cooperation of other team members

• Ability to work efficiently, and to meet deadlines

• Strong communication, negotiating skills and good interpersonal relations ■ ability to speak, read and write fluent English, and assist in the production of project reports in English.
